Who Is Liz Truss?
Liz Truss is a British Conservative politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for South West Norfolk since 2010. She was Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor in the second May ministry until David Gauke succeeded her in 2018. She is now the Second Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.

Liz Truss was born in Oxford and educated at the independent fee-paying girls’ school, Headington. She then studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Magdalen College, Oxford. After working as a management consultant for Deloitte, she co-founded an online family law company called Your Family Lawyer.
